{May 9, 2011}   BC2: Teach Me Technology Project

For this project you will be working independently to create a lesson plan for your classmates to learn something we did not cover in class.  Depending on your topic, your lesson might be interactive or a presentation.  In either case you will be required to complete the lesson plan document. You will be teaching this skill to the entire class.  Your lesson must be between 10-20 minutes.  You will be timed!

BC2 Teach Me Project Topics

Here are some project ideas below.  No one will be duplicating projects.  They will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. 

History/Evolution of video games

History/Evolution of Social networking

The Evolution of Computers

How a computer works

How the internet works


History of/Intro to Softwares (Word, Excel, Pages, Numbers, Keynote, etc.)

“The Cloud”

Wikis- wikispaces, pbworks, (pick one or the other)

Photo editing


Educational Apps Review for Ipods/Ipads/ Iphones



Gamemaker 8 (lite)


Citation Sites (noodlebib, citation maker, etc.)

Credible sources Websites


Google Suite (Docs, Calendar, Voice, Earth, Maps, Translate)

An original topic approved by teacher (has to meet at least 4 Tech Standards to qualify)Please see link below for idea choices:

A sign up sheet will be passed in class to sign up for a particular date to present your lesson.

All work for this project needs to be completed by: Tuesday, May 17, 2011

Presentations will be May 18-23, 2011 (Do not expect to be able to work on your lessons on these days!)

2 things about the presentation that went well.
1 critique- something you would have changed.
1 thing you learned from the presentation.

1 Page Reflection-
describe- give a brief overview of what happened during the lesson.
Analyze- list 2 things that didnt go as expected.
Reflect- how good are you as a teacher? how good of a job did you do teaching the technology?
learned- 3 things you learned from this experience.
